Rye FSC was honored with an award by the President of USFS, on 5/3/2013 at Governing Council in Colorado Springs, in honor of its 75th year as a club. Board Member and club delegate Jason Spicer was on hand to accept the award at the reception! Here's to another 75 years of great skating with Rye.
We are pleased to announce our second competition simulation! This simulation will include a technical specialist, judges and program critique for all skating levels.
Our first, Summer Competition Simulation with Critique will be held on Thursday, June 20th from 5:50 until approximately 8:00 at Westchester Skating Academy. For additional information and application, please click this link..
Rye FSC is hosting a Basic Skills Competition on Sunday May 19th, 2013 at Hommocks Park Ice Rink in Larchmont, NY.

The Rye FSC Annual Meeting will be held on Monday, May 13th at 7:00 in the Ballet Room of Westchester Skating Academy.

Good Luck to Rye FSC member Mia Caminita who will be competing with the University of Michigan at the 2013 Intercollegiate Team Figure Skating Championship.
The event will be held at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire on April 13 & 14. Mia will be competing in three events: Junior Short, High Team Maneuver, and Novice Dance.
The April 22nd Dance test will run from 1:30 - 3:30. Please note the earlier ending time.
We are please to announce that the Rye FSC will be hosting a Competition Simulation! It will be held on Monday, April 8th from 1:30 - 3:30 at Westchester Skating Academy. There are only 24 spots available. Applications must be postmarked no later than March 20th. Application and more information can be found by clicking the link to the flyer.
The Rye FSC will be hosting a Dance Test at WSA on Monday, April 22nd from 1:30 - 3:30. We will have an International panel of judges. Please see the test Session page for more information.

Congratulations to Rye FSC member Netta Schreiber who competed the Mentor Nestle Nesquik Torun Cup 2013 on January 10-13 2013 in Poland. She competed in Junior Ladies and came in 3rd place with a personal best score of 117.7 points.
Congratulations to the following Rye FSC members who competed in the 2013 World Junior Team Selection Competition in Faser, Michigan this past January 11th through 13th. Finishing first in the short program and second overall, these skaters, along with their entire synchronized team, have been named to the U.S.A. World Team:

IMPORTANT PLAYLAND UPDATE!
As many of you know our Club's home rink the Ice Casino at Playland suffered damage during super storm Sandy, decisions on repairs and rebuilding are being made now,
be a part of it, attend the meeting.
There will be a Public Information Session on Wednesday Feb.13th at 6:30 at the County Center in White Plains on Sustainable Playland. We are recommending our members attend.
