USFS requires all coaches be Registered with USFS in order to coach at a Test Session. This is in addition to their USFS membership. Membership and Registration are not the same thing. Coaches must also have completed Continuing Education credits. Their Registration and CE Compliance always expire on June 30th, just like USFS membership. They need to be renewed annually. We suggest that you check with your coaches to insure that they have met these requirements and that they renew before July 1st or it could impact on your ability to test and compete.

If you are becoming an Associate Member and plan to test with the Rye FSC, you must send in the Associate Membership by the time you apply for the test. If it is sent after you apply for the test it may not be processed in time for that test session.

Please note that membership applications (Home Club and Associate) do not go to the same address as test applications. Please send them to the addresses listed on each application. When you send them together, it slows down the process and can impact on your application status. Always send test applications via standard USPS mail. Do not send them certified or by any method that requires a signature as this slows down the process and may impact on your application status.
